100% Pinot Nero grapes

The streaked pale pink colour is indicative of light fermentation on the skins.

Characteristics

Tantalising bouquet, intensely seductive on the nose thanks to the blackberry, redcurrant, cherry and morello notes; crisp, fleshy, fruity on the palate. Despite the rather weighty appearance, this is a light, fresh, pleasingly subtle, linear wine. Refreshing. La Capinera Rosé Brut is perfect for enjoying at any time of the day. Try it with Catalan-style prawns, or with a dish of plain, chilled raspberries as a snack.

Production area
Franciacorta – Cologne. Vineyard located on the slope of Monte Orfano, South-West exposure.

Type of earth
Ancient banked colluvial soil on a rocky substrate of conglomerate gravel.

Vinification technique
Maceration on the skins for a maximum of 24 hours after the first temperature-controlled fermentation. Refermentation in the bottle, with ageing on the lees for at least 36 months.

Storage
Store in a dry place away from the light, at a controlled temperature of lower than 20°C
